The Radiance Foundation launches new “Juneteenth” billboard campaign in Atlanta through Independence Day Holiday!

The best way to fool people about their present and future, is to downright lie about their past. This is what the abortion industry has to do in order to sell death as a phony “choice”. Black Americans have a long and tragic history in America that, despite deep-seated racism and eugenics (from organizations like Planned Parenthood), has led to many triumphs. The abolition of slavery, as celebrated across the country on Juneteenth (June 19th), was one such victory. The Juneteenth holiday commemorates the emancipation of slaves in Texas in April 1865, two years after Lincoln’s Emancipation Declaration. Each civil rights battle since then, though seemingly impossible, has resulted in the ability to live life more freely and less threatened by violence. These achievements could only result from a multi-racial coalition of Americans, black and white, dedicated to the righteous pursuit of human dignity and justice. The Radiance Foundation has launched a massive billboard campaign in Atlanta, GA to honor Juneteenth and show how Roe v. Wade has made a mockery of Civil Rights history. By taking the very amendments that finally acknowledged black people as fully human (13th-15th Amendments1), seven Supremely wrong justices somehow bizarrely stripped humanity from one class of people (the unborn) from laws that required bloodshed to give humanity to another class of people (black Americans). Simply read Section VIII of Justice Blackmun’s majority opinion that used the 14th Amendment to fabricate a Constitutional right to kill one’s child.

Abortion is a perversion and inversion of justice. Instead of protecting the weaker, it inflicts violence and This campaign shows the perversion of history to justify inhumanitydeath upon the defenseless. And history shows, irrefutably, that abortion does nothing to reduce poverty, healthcare disparities, or increase “access” to medical care. There are more people living in poverty in the U.S. today than ever before in the 51 years the US Census Bureau has been tracking this data. Poverty fell sharply between 1959 and 1964 without legalized abortion2. Fatherlessness is rampant. Today it is 72.5%3. There is not a single health “disparity” that has improved as abortion has increased. One of the biggest lies from Planned Parenthood and the pro-abortion think tank Guttmacher, is that blacks have higher rates of abortion because they have higher rates of diabetes. This is completely and verifiably false. According to the CDC, white women have higher rates of diabetes through age 254. So, when abortions occur mostly in the age group of 20-24, Guttmacher is left to conjuring up statistical voodoo in hopes no one actually looks at the stats.

The findings run counter to claims by antiabortion activists that high abortion rates among minorities are the result of supposed aggressive marketing by abortion providers to minority communities. Instead, disproportionately high rates of both unintended pregnancy and abortion are just one symptom of broader health disparities ranging from sexually transmitted infections to diabetes and heart disease. –Guttmacher.org, “NO CONSPIRACY THEORIES NEEDED”5

Facts matter. Statistics matter. History matters.

Abortion enslaves the black community. It does not liberate. It’s ironic that we, who were once considered less than human, now exercise this same oppressive mindset toward another class of people, the unborn. Women are remarkably resilient and resourceful, but misled into believing that they are empowered by viewing pregnancy (and men) as the enemy. Single women-led households contribute significantly to the overall poverty in the black community. The dissolution of the two-parent family (father/mother) has decimated the black community economically, morally, and psychologically. Once at 78% of all US black households in 19506, today married couples are estimated to comprise only 28.7% of households in the black community7. This disintegration of the foundation of any society allows predators like Planned Parenthood to seize on the vulnerability. The destructive behaviors that fill the vacuum shackle the black community in exponentially high STD/HIV infection rates, ever-increasing “unintended” pregnancy rates, and epidemic levels of abortion as we see in NYC. In the center of the Planned Parenthood abortion empire, 60% of all black pregnancies in the Big Apple are aborted.8

The 14th Amendment recognized Black Americans as full persons/citizensWe don’t need to repeat a history where a people are convinced that their worth isn’t worth protecting. Black Americans have endured the dehumanization of slavery and the horrid racism of eugenics-based social policies (Jim Crow Laws and anti-miscegenation laws). Our ancestors (i.e. Frederick Douglass, Sojourner Truth, Harriet Tubman, George Washington Carver) did not endure the hardships of a world of putrid racial hatred to see their posterity killing their posterity.

But this is what we have allowed to happen under the guise of “choice”. Roe v. Wade perverted the very constitutional amendments that finally recognized us, at least on paper, as fully human. The 13th Amendment abolished slavery. The 14th Amendment made us citizens of this great country. And the 15th Amendment assured us that our voice would not be silenced, by allowing us (well, at least men) to vote. But the fight for our humanity didn’t end as Supremely wrong decisions continued to be made by 7 of out 9 justices, denying us our personhood. And despite the monumental Civil Rights Act of 1964, nine years later, the most dehumanizing and violent action against human life, Roe v. Wade, made a mockery of over a century of Civil Rights victories.

Abortion enslaves.

There is no freedom where death is the solution to Life. There is no freedom in the mass abandonment by fathers. There is no freedom for women fooled into thinking they’re empowered by reviling their beautiful biological nature. There is no freedom in a society (that includes all of us) that doesn’t value sexual self-control. There is no freedom in racial and gender animus that constantly tries to divide us. There is no freedom in silence.

The black community is in a crisis. There are life-affirming alternatives to “unplanned” pregnancies that don’t require the destruction of human life. Challenge the status quo! Don’t be fooled by the nation’s largest abortion chain that has done nothing to elevate the condition of the black community. Search their history, and you will understand their unaltered present course. Our churches, just like many during slavery, can remain silent as our future is being stolen away, 1000 lives per day. Or, they can pick up the mantle of a rich and relentless legacy of Civil Rights that demands something better of our humanity.

    I’m Black…but many Blacks don’t even know what Juneteenth is all about. By and large, Blacks really don’t care to get in depth about our history. It’s a shame. But “it is what it is”……..many Blacks are just plain ignorant. Pants hanging down revealing panties or mens underwear, teenage girls showing more breast than is covered, black men fathering babies by multiple girls/women, Black women becoming, essentially, babie machines because they’ll have a baby by virtually ANY man. Black women don’t date to get married, they date to have babies. The statistics don’t lie. Blacks have the lowest marriage rate of any race but also have one of the highest birth rates. Go figure.

    The Holding of Roe v. Wade was about a choice a woman’s right to chose. Since they endure the process of motherhood. There is no relevance in the 13 th 14 th and 15 th Amendment pertaining to the Courts holding. Whether you agree or not, it is the law of the land. Whether you agree or disagree live with it.

    Sorry, Marshall. You need to read Justice Harry Blackmun’s majority opinion on the ruling.

    “This right of privacy, whether it be founded in the Fourteenth Amendment’s concept of personal liberty and restrictions upon state action, as we feel it is, or, as the District Court determined, in the Ninth Amendment’s reservation of rights to the people, is broad enough to encompass a woman’s decision whether or not to terminate her pregnancy.” Section VIII, Blackmun, J. Opinion of the Court

    The 14th Amendment was used throughout Blackmun’s opinion in a bizarre twist to insist that the “right to privacy” and “due process” provided a constitutional basis to kill an unborn child.

    The law of the land has OFTEN been wrong. Slavery was the “law of the land”. Women’ inability to vote was the “law of the land”. Segregation was the “law of the land”.

    And no, we won’t live with it. We will fight for justice, for those who are crushed by those who choose to ignore the truth.

    Just today the census bureau says that Black women are having more babies than any other group and that most Black babies are being born to young unmarried women. Many of the California billboard being put up are in Oakland which is about to close nearly all of its libraries, and where the state is about shut down hundreds of programs that provide services for low income parents, as well as support staff and extracurrular programs like after school activites and sports in low income neighborhoods. The money, and the effort being used to create these billboard could be used to keep the programs, library and school programs open, since most of the people served, and employed by these programs are Black. If California can’t afford to take care of the Black babies being born now, how would the state take care of all the Black babies in the state if every Black women in California who gets pregnant is forced to have her child.

    The CDC actually records this data. Black women do not have more babies than any other group. Hispanics actually have the highest birth rate of 22.1 (per 1000 women of reproductive age). Black women’s birth rate is 16.5 and white women, 11.4. By numbers, white women have the most babies at 2,312,473 versus black women at 627,230. Black babies, however, are aborted at alarming levels amounting to 3 to 5 times the rate of the majority population. In NYC, home of Planned Parenthood, 60% of black pregnancies end in abortion…as poverty increases.

    Facts matter. Oakland’s profound urban decay, like MANY other urban areas is the result of the deterioration of the black family, fatherlessness (at 72.3%), and an epidemic level of abortion. The black community doesn’t need to be shackled to the government for its sustenance, but needs intact two-parent married homes to serve as a strong foundation for a community that’s fed death as a solution to its social ills.

    Trust me, a few thousand dollars (which paid for this campaign), wouldn’t put a dent into the failed state of California’s problems. Perhaps a $1 billion dollar industry, like, say, Planned Parenthood, could actually do something about the root issues of poverty instead of causing them.

    We educate, and not a dime is wasted, waking up a public to the destruction of abortion and the life-affirming solutions that exist.

    it’s funny, anyone who dares to challenge any part of what you say is an automatic enemy. You people have a lot to learn especially with such self-righteous and myopic discussion. Only those who have nothing but praise for your “cause” are clearly the only ones you see fit for an opinion. Hypocritical much?

    Plus, all your advocacy for Black people’s welfare is a joke. Why aren’t you critical of the gross racial disparities in essentially all facets of American life? Where is the critique of the proliferating racism so prevalent today? Where is the discussion of the fact that more Black men are incarcerated today than during slavery? Additionally, you NEVER discuss the role of choice and assume that all pregnancies are “equal” including those forced upon a woman through rape.

    What a self-serving, misleading and highly flawed “movement” you have going on. Your opinions do not reflect the beliefs of countless Black and other people of color.

    @Cristal G….the enemy is any attempt to address the issue untruthfully. And pro-abortion advocates have shown they have no regard for the truth. That’s why they have to demonize our campaign with ludicrous accusations instead of dealing with the hard facts. We allow anyone’s opinion, no matter how misinformed they may be.

    Last time I checked, organizations didn’t have to cover every social ill known to humankind in order to advocate for justice in a particular area. More importantly, other than killing black babies, disproportionately, what exactly does Planned Parenthood do to address the myriad of social ills that plague the black community? Are they running food drives, literacy programs, housing restoration campaigns, providing free health care? Oh, wait, no. Their $1 billion budget can’t squeeze in any charity. Perhaps that’s because Margaret Sanger, their founder, DESPISED charity. This requires you learning a little inconvenient history (see http://www.toomanyaborted.com/?page_id=592).

    More black men are incarcerated now than during slavery? Really??? Do you want to rethink that ludicrous remark? Slavery WAS incarceration, for all forced into the shackles of the dehumanizing institution. See, this is what’s wrong with pro-abortion “reasoning”. There’s no logic or common sense.

    We discuss “choice” as what it really is: death. And our “CHOICE KILL$” campaign highlights the “choice” that Planned Parenthood prefers: 340 abortions per 1 adoption referral. Rape, by the way, constitutes less than 1% of all abortions, but doesn’t change the beautiful intrinsic nature of that unborn child. Last time I checked, we lived in a country where our founding documents declare:

    We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

    So, that would mean all people are created equal (which you obviously don’t agree with), and since people begin biologically in pregnancy, every pregnancy is equal. But what do those silly founding fathers know–they only established the most incredible democracy on earth with a Constitution that can be amended to right the wrongs of the past.

    The only thing misleading here (and once again, another pro-abortion apologist who doesn’t actually challenge a single one of our stats or historical evidence) is your grossly misinformed response, which you are entitled to. But we’re entitled to reveal the truth and adhere to the life-affirming principles laid out in our great country’s Declaration of Independence. Happy 4th of July!

    I have read through all of the responses and I am speechless. It is clear that the founders of this site have a GOOD purpose. The people “for” this website give fact-based, concise responses which neither attack nor assert that those “against” the website are enemies. The responses merely elucidate the depth of this problem, its reach, and its consequences. I find in reading the posts that those “against” this website begin with a defensive tone. No one is attacking a woman’s right to choose abortion here, and no one is pointing out statistics as a means by which to defame black society or black women- as if to suggest that black people should be looked down upon due to these statistical facts. It is clear to me that this website and its founders wish to reach out and educate society on the dirty policies designed to eradicate “undesirables”. **Democrats began by making laws to oppress the black population so they would not revolt from slavery, would not ban together for freedom. Once they lost that battle, they attempted to supress the black population with the KKK, intimidation, death, and segragation. When that finally failed, the democratic peoples turned to a new tactic, pretend to be their friends, to be on their side, and give them the motive and opportunity to kill themselves, dumb themselves down, to deteriorate, and they will do the job themselves. Now democrats are revising history books and using schools to persuade young minds – so that when someone tells a black person this historically fact-based information… certainly the messenger looks like the crazy one! What a shame.
