We are you. Your mothers. Your fathers. Your teachers. Your pastors. Your friends. Your brothers. Your sisters. We are the ones who mourn the loss of beautiful potential. Abortion is a human tragedy no matter the race, but nowhere in America is it more prevalent than in the Black community, where nearly 40% of all pregnancies end in induced abortion.  This abortion awareness campaign is not about shame or fear.  It doesn’t target black women.  It serves to expose an industry that profits from deception and destruction.

“Black & Unwanted” and “Endangered Species” are bold collaborative efforts between The Radiance Foundation (www.theradiancefoundation.org) and Georgia’s Operation Outrage endorsed by national civil rights leaders. They are thought-provoking campaigns developed and directed by Ryan Bomberger, co-founder of The Radiance Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization. As a 15-year mentor/activist/public speaker in many urban outreaches, he has seen both the incredible possibility and painfully wasted potential in the Black community, none of which is made better by abortion.  We are told so many times that a people “who do not know their history are doomed to repeat it.”  So, here is the history lesson and the present day consequences of a nation’s embrace of abortion.

Since 1973 more than 50 million children have died because of “choice”.  Fourteen million of those precious unborn lives were black.
